Art Book ( Figure and Repetition)

Figure is what defines shapes and images. It prevents the eye from perceiving the world as a blurry mess of colors. I decided to do a ” type face” and start putting down letters to see who would rise from the mess of typography. Some how a certain saint managed to show his face. I think its appropriate based on the ever approaching holidays.

Repetition is the constant repeat of a theme or image. For example, the constant threat of nuclear war has been a repeating factor in our world’s history. However many times it happens all we get is a, “We’re Sorry”. The color in the image represents the different ways that political officials pretend that the matter of nuclear conflict is nothing to be concerned  of. I think that weapons that turn people into radioactive ash in a millisecond should be considered with some concern.
