Research :

Understanding Comics Notes:

Emotions can be shown through certain images even if the image is drawn out.
Comic artists using certain images to evoke emotions is a vital tool in the world of comics.
Emotions can be either displayed in panels or even hinted at in between panels or the “Bloody Gutter”
Line, Shape, Color can be used to activate the brain into unconsciously using the five senses.
Over time media has seen a separation between images and writing.
Works that have this collaboration of images and writing are either called out as simple commercialism or childish diversions.
Unfortunately popular belief believes that artwork and literature must be viewed differently in order to judge quality.
Pictures came before the first written language and yet literature is considered more important than artwork.
